From June 2 to June 4, 2025, the 27th DOSCH Symposium, organized by the Austrian Society for Hygiene, Microbiology, and Preventive Medicine (ÖGHMP), will take place in Velden am Wörthersee, Austria.
This year's symposium, themed "Erreger im Visier: Innovationen und Strategien in der Krankenhaushygiene 2025" ("Pathogens in Focus: Innovations and Strategies in Hospital Hygiene 2025"), will address topics such as updates in hospital hygiene, emerging pathogen variants, nosocomial outbreaks, surveillance efficacy, vaccine-preventable diseases, pandemic preparedness, infrastructure hygiene in healthcare settings, antiseptic stewardship, medical device hygiene safety, and effective communication in hospital hygiene.
We will be attending the symposium to stay up to date with new developments and engage in discussions with professionals in the field. While we won’t have a booth, we’re happy to connect and exchange ideas during the event. Let’s meet in Velden!
